Thiruvananthapuram: The weather department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kerala until Monday. A yellow alert has been issued today for three districts — Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), isolated heavy rainfall is likely in these districts. Rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm is expected over the next 24 hours.
Authorities have also warned of the possibility of landslides, mudslides, and flash floods in vulnerable areas. Residents living in landslide-prone regions have been advised to remain vigilant and move to safer locations if necessary.
