BJP National Co-Organisation Secretary Shiv Prakash planted a tree sapling along with Vedic students at the Thrissur Brahmaswam Math on World Environment Day, amid an atmosphere filled with Vedic chants.
The event was organised as part of the nationwide tree-planting campaign launched to mark the first anniversary of the third term of the Narendra Modi government. Under the initiative, saplings are being planted at BJP booths across the country to promote environmental conservation.
Shiv Prakash participated in the programme along with Brahmaswam Math President Adv. Pazhoor Parameswaran Namboothiri, Pathashala Principal Kapra Shankara Narayanan, Chief Vedic Acharya Vadakkumpad Pasupathi Namboothiri, and other Vedic scholars.
BJP State Vice-President Unnikrishnan Master, BJP District Vice-President and Division Councillor Vinshi Arun Kumar, as well as Sudheer and Ajay Kumar, were also present at the event.
