Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday rejected DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s claim that the Congress party played a role in the BJP’s electoral success.Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Pradhan said that in a democracy, it is the people who ultimately decide election outcomes and leadership.“In a democracy, people are the ultimate leader. They decide whom they will elect. Due to the misrule of the DMK and its anti-people politics, they have lost the confidence of the people of Tamil Nadu. Out of frustration, they are saying something,” Pradhan said.
The Union Minister further criticised the Congress, asserting that voters across the country have repeatedly rejected the party.Pradhan’s remarks came in response to recent comments made by Udhayanidhi Stalin regarding the political dynamics behind the BJP’s electoral victories. The exchange adds to the continuing political debate between the BJP and opposition parties over electoral performance and governance issues.
