Gold prices in the state witnessed a decline on Friday, with the rate falling by ₹35 per gram.
The price of 916 gold now stands at ₹13,965 per gram, while the rate for 8 grams has come down to ₹1,11,720.
Similarly, 18-carat gold is priced at ₹11,535 per gram and ₹92,280 for 8 grams.
Silver prices also saw a slight dip, with rates at ₹255 per gram and ₹2,040 for 8 grams.
Market sources attribute the fall in prices to fluctuations in global trends.
