Ganga Expressway Set to Redefine Connectivity in Uttar Pradesh

A major milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure journey is set to unfold on Wednesday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the 594-km-long Ganga Expressway, one of the country’s most ambitious highway projects.

Stretching from Meerut to Prayagraj, the high-speed corridor promises to transform how people and goods move across the state. For commuters, it means faster travel; for businesses, it opens up new routes for trade, logistics, and expansion.

Officials say the expressway is more than just a road—it is expected to act as a catalyst for industrial growth, improved agricultural marketing, and better regional balance, particularly benefiting districts that have long awaited stronger connectivity.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the significance of the project in a post on X, noting that the state’s development journey would gain fresh momentum with the inauguration, which is scheduled to take place from Hardoi.
