Thiruvananthapuram: With the Kerala Assembly election campaign entering its final phase, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi are set to campaign in the state on Saturday.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at Thiruvananthapuram airport around 2.30 pm. He will later address a public meeting of the NDA at Thiruvalla Public Stadium at 4 pm. A roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram is also part of his itinerary.

Rahul Gandhi will also reach Kerala to take part in election programmes. He is expected to begin his campaign in Alappuzha constituency, followed by events in Kattappana and Kochi. In his earlier campaign speeches, Rahul had criticised the LDF over issues including the alleged Sabarimala gold theft and targeted the Centre on rising fuel concerns.
