Rahul Gandhi alleges BJP-Left ‘deal’ in Kerala polls

KANNUR/KOZHIKODE: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday accused the BJP and the Left of having a “partnership” in the Kerala Assembly elections. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants the ruling LDF to return to power.

Addressing rallies in Kannur and parts of Kozhikode, Rahul Gandhi said the Congress-led UDF is fighting both the BJP and the Left. He reiterated that the two fronts are working together against the Congress in the state.

At the Kannur rally, former CPI(M) leaders V Kunhikrishnan and T K Govindan, now contesting as independents with UDF support, were also present.
