Centre assures no fuel shortage, urges public to avoid panic

NEW DELHI: The central government on Monday clarified that there is no fuel shortage in India and supplies remain stable across the country. Officials said petrol pumps and LPG outlets are operating normally with adequate stock.

The assurance comes amid concerns linked to the ongoing West Asia conflict. The government urged people not to believe rumours and avoid panic buying. It also warned that misinformation is causing unnecessary fear among the public.
