Authorities in Kashmir have issued an avalanche warning for Bandipora and Ganderbal districts. Officials said a medium-level avalanche risk is expected above 2,400 metres in the next 24 hours.
Residents and travellers have been advised to remain alert. Authorities warned people not to venture into avalanche-prone areas such as slopes, higher reaches, and hilly terrain. The advisory urged strict compliance until further instructions are issued.
