Thiruvananthapuram: The Greenfield Stadium at Karyavattom is set to transform into a sea of blue tonight as India take on New Zealand in a much-anticipated international clash beginning at 7 pm. The match carries special significance as it is the final encounter for both teams ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

Adding to the excitement, local hero Sanju Samson is expected to play his first international match on home soil, a moment fans in Kerala have been eagerly waiting for. Reflecting the massive enthusiasm, all tickets for the match were sold out within a single day.

The Indian team hit the nets at the stadium yesterday evening, with Sanju Samson stealing the spotlight through an explosive practice session. Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Shreyas Iyer also put in solid batting practice, while Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakravarthy fine-tuned their skills ahead of the big night.
