The premium high-speed service, known for its faster travel time and enhanced onboard comfort, has quickly become a preferred choice for commuters between Karnataka and Kerala.
Railway officials noted that the occupancy figures are calculated based on total bookings, including confirmed passengers and those on the waiting list—a standard practice used to assess overall demand. The consistently high bookings highlight the route’s growing popularity among daily travelers, business professionals, and tourists.
The Vande Bharat’s reduced travel time, improved punctuality, and superior facilities such as better seating, upgraded interiors, and enhanced safety systems have contributed to its strong ridership.
With the service steadily attracting more passengers each week, the Railways is optimistic about expanding premium travel options and improving connectivity between the two southern states.
