A woman was bitten by a police dog when she came to participate in the Idukki district level Independence day celebrations.Idukki Vazhathopp vadakkedath Shanty Titus was the victim of the dog bite. The woman was bitten by a ‘Belgian Malinois’ dog. The woman was released after undergoing treatment at Idukki Medical College.
The last event of the Independence Day celebrations was a special show by the Dog Squad. Meanwhile, one of the upset dogs was taken out by the trainers. While moving out, the dog suddenly attacked the woman when she reached the woman’s side. The dog was attacked the woman on hand.
