Very heavy rains continue in the state today

Today is forecast to bring more torrential rain to the state. Except for Kasagade, thirteen districts have been placed on yellow alert.

In mountainous places, it is urged to exercise additional caution due to the possibility of landslides. Thunder and wind will also accompany the rain.

Fishing has been prohibited throughout the shores of Kerala and Lakshadweep due to the potential for poor weather in the sea. The storm that is present close to Kerala and the Bay of Bengal is the cause of the torrential rains. For the upcoming five days, rain is predicted to fall continuously.

More aid camps have opened throughout the state as a result of the rain. For educational institutions operating relief camps in the Pathanamthitta and Kottayam districts, a holiday has been declared.
