Thiruvananthapuram: For the next five days, Kerala is anticipated to experience a period of intense rainfall followed by thunder and lightning (until August 22).
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), isolated areas of the state are likely to see rain with thunder and lightning from August 18 to 22.
While most Keralites would enjoy the break from the unbearable heat the state has been experiencing lately, the national weather service advises everyone to exercise caution.
