A 12-year-old girl who was bitten by a stray dog is in severe condition. Abhirami, a resident of Ranni, was transferred to Kottayam Medical College Hospital after suffering a street dog bite two weeks prior.
On her arm and body, the toddler had more than nine bite marks. Pathanamthitta General Hospital received the child’s admission. Yesterday evening, due to the severity of the condition, she was sent to Kottayam Medical College.
On a Saturday morning while out for a stroll along Carmel Engineering College Road, the incident happened. When Abhirami went to get milk, a street dog attacked her.
The family of the child arrived and took her to the hospital after the locals informed them. The general hospital is providing care for the patient.
