Thiruvannamalai, Oct 24 (IVC) Seven workmen were killed and 14 others suffered injuries in a road traffic accident here today, police said.
Among the deceased six workmen belonged to Assam and the remaining one from Tamil Nadu, police added.
The mishap occurred when the car in which the deceased were travelling collided with a bus here, the police said adding, the ill-fated workmen were on their way to Hosur from Pondicherry. Further details of the accident were awaited, police said.
