PM greets teachers on teacher’s day

It’s teachers’ day today. On the birthday of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, a teacher, philosopher, and the second President of India, National Teachers’ Day is observed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished teachers a happy Teachers’ Day for inspiring young people to pursue education and honoured former President S Radhakrishnan on the occasion of his birthday.

Modi tweeted, Greetings on Teachers’ Day, especially to all the dedicated teachers who share the delights of education with young brains.

On the occasion of his birth anniversary, he added, I also pay respect to our former President Dr. Radhakrishnan.

After a long period of life, both students and teachers are eager to get back to school and college. A pupil spends around 25,000 hours in school between the ages of five and seventeen, according to estimates.
