Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, and top businessman Gautam Adani are all defendants in a case in the US. An Indian-American doctor filed the claim, alleging fraud and the deployment of Pegasus malware.
Dr. Lokesh Vuyuru, a gastroenterologist with a practise in Richmond, has brought the lawsuit against Modi, Reddy, and Adani. The World Economic Forum’s founder and chairman, Professor Klaus Schwab, is also included in the lawsuit. The US District Court in Columbia summoned them.
The doctor from Andhra Pradesh claimed that Modi, Reddy, Adani, and others were involved in massive money laundering and the deployment of espionage software Pegasus against political rivals in the US. But the doctor hasn’t offered any supporting documentation.
