The Collector Dr. Divya S Iyer has ordered a holiday for tomorrow for the educational institutions running relief camps in the Pathanamthitta district. The previously scheduled university examinations, however, won’t change.
The state will continue to see severe rainfall, the meteorological department has said. Rain is more likely to fall in the south central districts. A low pressure region extending across the Bay of Bengal and an atmospheric trough over Tamil Nadu are to blame for the rainfall.
