Officials stated today that heavy rain caused waterlogging in portions of Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru, disrupting regular life.
Trees were discovered uprooted in various regions, and schools and universities were closed today, they added.
Automobiles stopped on a long stretch of wet roadway between Bengaluru and Mysuru, as pedestrians struggle to walk.
Boats were used to remove stranded individuals in several regions. Over the last three days, the state has received a lot of rain. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited flood-affected areas on Monday, including Ramanagara, to assess the situation.
According to officials, the Chief Minister heard the affected people’s issues and assured relief.
