Orange Alert

In these districts, an orange signal has been issued by the Central Meteorological Department. Forecasts call for isolated areas to get significant rainfall. Heavy rainfall is classified by the Meteorological Department as 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm of rain in a 24-hour period.

Because of the storm in the North East Bay of Bengal, there have been heavy rains in the state once more. The shores of Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Karnataka are off-limits to fishing. The South Bay of Bengal is likely to have strong winds and poor weather, with gusts up to 65 kmph on occasion.
