Ground crew nabbed for stealing electronics from Delhi-Mumbai flight

Two ground staff were arrested for allegedly stealing electronic gadgets from a Mumbai-bound cargo airline, police said on Friday.

The theft was reported by Anil Kumar, a security officer of Celebi Airport Services India Pvt Ltd, Thursday at IGI Airport Police Station. He said several electronic items from one of their consignments bound to Mumbai from Delhi were stolen.

According to the complaint, an email from QuickJet Airlines reported the firm that items including Fire Bolt smartwatch, Boat airpods, RedMi 10 mobile phone and Sony earphone were missing from one of their consignments, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Airport) Devesh Kumar Mahla said.

Uber Eats to soon deliver weed legally to Canadians’ doorstep

Due to the significant relationship between Uber Eats and Leafy, anyone in Toronto who are 19 years of age and older can purchase marijuana online just like they can in a restaurant. When users look for and order cannabis, they will be cautioned to make sure they are of legal age. The cannabis will be delivered by employees of the retailer, not by an outside driver. In accordance with Canadian law, anybody supplying legal marijuana must confirm the customer’s age and sobriety. The initiative will launch with three retailers: Shivaa’s Rose, Minerva Cannabis, and Hidden Leaf Cannabis. Uber has already teamed with another merchant in Ontario before the partnership with Leafy, but the consumers had to choose their own orders. Lola Kassim, general manager of Uber Eats Canada, commented on the situation, stating that they are collaborating with industry leaders like Leafly, which will assist shops in offering easy and secure ways to buy legal cannabis in Toronto.  She said that the doorstep delivery business will lessen drunk driving and combat the black market for cannabis. In addition, Leafly’s CEO noted that the company has supported more than 200 merchants in the Greater Toronto Area for more than four years, boosting the Canadian cannabis industry. He stated that he was excited to work with Uber Eats and was looking forward to the collaboration.
