Goly Brar, a Canadian criminal who is thought to be one of the primary plotters behind the murder of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala, has alleged that his men assassinated Mandeep Dhaliwal, a member of a rival gang in the Philippines. The gangster claimed in a video released on what is thought to be Goldy Brar’s Facebook page that he plotted the murder of Mandeep Dhaliwal as revenge for the deaths of two of his gang’s shooters, Jagroop Singh Rupa and Manpreet Mannu.
“These petty gangsters have been making a number of accusations on social media. Jagroop Singh Rupa and Manpreet Mannu’s murder will be avenged by me. The retaliation will be such that it will be remembered in history, ” he said.
In July, the Punjab Police engaged Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Mannu in a nearly five-hour-long shootout over their alleged involvement in the murder of Moose Wala. Both men were killed.
Then, according to Brar, he begged Jagroop Singh Rupa and Manpreet Mannu to give up but they refused and clashed like “deadly lions.”
On June 29, Sidhu Moose Wala of Punjab’s Mansa district was fatally shot while driving his SUV close to his home hamlet of Moosa.
Goldy Brar acknowledged in a Facebook post published a day after Moose Wala’s death that he had planned the killing as retaliation for the murder of another mobster.
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the main suspect in the murder of the Punjabi artist, had a tight relationship with Goldy Brar.
