Bad Weather; Fishermen advised not to venture into sea

Fishing is not recommended today or tomorrow along the coast of Kerala, Lakshadweep, and Karnataka, according to the Central Meteorological Department. Weather problems and strong winds with speeds of 40 to 50 kmph, with occasional gusts of 60 kmph, are anticipated across the Kerala-Lakshadweep coasts. The warning stated that winds of 40 to 50 kmph with isolated gusts of up to 60 kmph are likely across the central and eastern Arabian Sea along the Karnataka coast.

Between August 23 and August 25, 2022, there is a chance of high winds gusting to 45 to 55 kmph and, on occasion, 65 kmph across the coasts of Tamil Nadu, Kanyakumari, and the Gulf of Mannar.

On August 23, 2022, there is a chance of severe weather, including gusts of 40 to 50 kph and even 60 kph, along the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and the Maldives. These regions are adjacent to the South-East Arabian Sea.

On August 26, 2022, a strong wind of 45 to 55 kmph with gusts of 65 kmph is predicted to blow over the Kanyakumari coast.

26-08-2022: In the southwest Bay of Bengal off the Sri Lankan coast, there is a chance of severe winds and harsh weather with gusts of 45 to 55 kmph and occasionally 65 kmph.
