Complaint of attempted assault on female councilor. Gayatri Babu, a councillor from Vanchiyur, was allegedly assaulted by ABVP members. Six ABVP workers were detained by police as a result of the incident.
The ABVP office was assaulted. The stone pelting took place at the ABVP state committee office. The BJP claimed that CPIM employees were behind the stone-throwing.
