Accused  confessed  the crime

Kochi, Oct  29  (IVC)    The accused   in the  bombs explosion at nearby  Kalamassery  this  morning  confessed    that   he had planted the  bombs  at the prayer meeting of Jehovah’s Witness following retaliation.

                The accused  Dominic Martin hailed  from Elamkulam  in Ernakulam District and was staying at  Thommanam near here for over five years in  a  rental  house.

                He  confessed  the  police that  his  action  was  in protest  against  the  ‘Anti-national  activities’  of  the Jehovah’s  Witness for years.   He had  requested the hierarchy  of JW   to change their policies and stop  anti-national  activities. JW did  not  heed to his just requests of changing the Jehovah’s Witness policy  and stop  the anti-national activities.  That was the reason for planting the bombs at the prayer  meeting at  Kalamassery.

                One woman was killed in the bomb’s explosion and 52 persons suffered in juries  . Of  the  injured, condition of fiver persons was  critical, the doctors attending on them said.

The accused  confessed the police at Kodkara police station in Thrissur District.  Interrogation of the  accused Dominic Martin  was continuing at Kalamassery, police said..
