The government has given KSRTC financial support of Rs. 9,430 crore over the course of 12 years. The financial year 2018–19 saw the highest amount sanctioned at 1601. In this year, the government has approved 6 crores for KSRTC.
The government helped by allocating funds for projects, giving loans, and subsidising them. RTI records cover the years 2008 through 2022. The money was utilised to cover KSRTC’s operating costs.
